The goal of this report is to investigate the viability of a pilot experience on Unconditional Basic Income (UBI) in Portugal. Many academics, policymakers, businesspeople, activists, and the public in general have expressed for decades an interest in the concept of UBI. Furthermore, in the last decade, experiences on UBI carried out in several countries around the world have contributed to renew interest in the topic.
